Some of the wildlife that lives in the CCRM area are wolverines, grizzly bear, black bear, moose, mountain goat, caribou, elk and mule deer.
Some minerals we found with ARCGIS were lode gold and world MTV deposits also known as lead and zinc. There is no oil or gas in our priority area.
Some plants in the CCRM are Alberta wildrose, Pink wintergreen, Tower larkspur, western white yarrow.

Our region is unique because it contains one of the largest contiguous blocks of protected lands in the Yellowstone to Yukon region. Our priority area is unique because it encompasses four iconic national parks Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Yoho. The central Canadian Rocky Mountains is a core region.
