Salmon-Selway-Bitterroot's (SSB) forests are a safe refuge for wildlife. The ecosystem of SSB is good enough to be a future home for grizzly bears. It's a good home for grizzly bears, because it has many food and water sources such as berry bushes, a river and lot of other animals. Also there are a lot of national parks and protected areas for the bears. The grizzly bears' return is needed to reconnect Yellowstone's grizzly population to the rest of the bears in the continent. Trees in this area are valuable, because they provide homes, food, decomposers, O2 and Co2. Riggins,Idaho is in the SSB priority area. Riggins (a city in SSB) has an award winning hotel on the Salmon River. Salmon River is used for white water rafting, swimming and etc.
