Salmon- Selway- Bitterroot has many animals and we will tell you some of them like bighorn sheep, mountain goats, elk, moose, mule deer, white tailed deer, cougar, wolves, black bear, Lynx, coyote, red fox and many more. One of the animals that are in our area are Lynx they are special because they provide us very warm fur. How they look like? They are like bob cats. They love to hunt and their preys are small like mice. The other animal that we have is red fox. It is special because they are almost extinct. The red fox is a small, dog-like mammal, with a sharp pointed face and ears, an agile and lightly built body, a coat of lustrous long fur, and a large bushy tail. We need this animal because there are not many left because people like to hunt them
