Value of Region:
It's the headwaters for most river that flow from other lakes for example the Fraser River. A single river called the Nechako River flows into the Athabaska River, the Bow North Saskatchewan River and a lot more. We also have of the largest packs of stone sheep. Some of the plants are heather, dwarf birch, willow, grass, and lichen; subalpine forests of alpine fir, white spruce, and an occasional Engelmann spruce; and closed boreal forests of black and white spruce. In our region we have a verity of animals such as the stone sheep, and grizzly bears also roam here. We also have a verity of plants some examples are Aspen the aspen looks similar to birch the difference is the birch has more dots and the tree is smaller, lodgepole pine which is used to make electric line poles, some of the greatest salmon because the water conditions and grizzlies are least concerned because they have very good habitat.
