Task 2, 3, 4
There are lots of wild life like bears, wolverines, wolves, lynx,
moose, hawks, eagles, owls, falcons, bull trout and mountain goats.
One type of animal is a falcon. Falcons have a wide wing span and are
mottled with brown and white feathers. Falcons eyes are ringed with
yellow and the top part of there beaks are slightly hooked. Another
animal in crown of the continent is a mountain goat. Mountain goats
have shaggy fur. Both female and male have horns but the males horns
have a wider base then the females. Although, the females horns are
farther apart then the males horns.
Plants in the crown of the continent are red, cedar, hemlock,
cottonwood, lodge pole pine and aspen trees. Aspen trees have white
bark with black strips in it. Aspen trees are deciduous so that means
they have broad leaves and the leaves fall in the autumn. Lodgepole
pine are very straight and tall and have pine needles at the top of
the tree and not the bottom . They are coniferous so instead of leaves
they have needles, and those needles don't fall in the autumn.
The minerals in crown of the continent are coal, tin, gold, porphyry.
